That photo is me now. (Sadly I don't have any from the 1960s. If anybody does have class photos I would be delighted to see them, even though they will only highlight the ravages of time.)
My new book Knowing the Score, which takes a philosophical angle on sporting issues, and vice versa, will be out in May 2017, published by Basic Books in the US and Constable in the UK.

Now the Olympics 2024 are here, many thanks to Stuart Clark for circulating a reminder of my book Knowing the Score, which takes a philosophical look at sporting themes. (I wrote it a couple of years ago as a break from my day job writing about consciousness, quantum mechanics, causation, and other such pressing metaphysical matters.)
As I said to Stuart, my contemporaries at school are just the readers I had in mind while writing the book. I'd love to hear any reactions from you.
