Raymond died in 2006 of Hodgkinson's Lymphoma.  Raymond was an attorney by profession and a prominent one.  At the time of his death Raymond was the Chairman of the law firm of Hofmeyer, Herbstein & Gihwala in Cape Town.  

Raymond was for a time also the Chairman of Paradigm Capital and of Glodina.  A Google search reveals that at the time he was associated with Paradigm one of his characteristics was that he drove a Rolls Royce!
