Dave was one of those salt of the earth characters who kept a low profile at DHS (like me!), but who could always be counted on for a smile and a friendly chat.  Unfortunately I completely lost contact with Dave after DHS, but he and Mike Slater worked together at Masonite, and Mike has kindly provided the following note regarding Dave’s life and passing:

Dave Cooper passed away in hospital in Durban on 17 April 2019. He was 72 years old. Dave and I worked together for over 20 years at Masonite and enjoyed our time together. He retired from the Company in 2006.  He leaves his widow, Lynn and sons David (Cape Town ) and Bruce (Perth ).
