In Memory

Peter Lawson

Peter passed away in 2014, after what I understand to have been a long illness.  He was one of the first of our classmates (if not the first) to sign up on the website and to commit to attending the 50th anniversary reunion.  As the reunion approached, however, he told me that due to ill health he might not be able to attend.  However, he did attend, although he was clearly not a well man.  Despite his ill health, however, Peter did not let his condition interfere with his enjoyment of the reunion events, all of which he attended.

At school Peter was a good friend, and a friend one could rely on.  Low key and mellow, like so many of the class of 1963 he went on to a successful career in business, ending up as the general manager of Phoenix Steel, and a director of Argent Industrial Ltd.  He was also a devoted father and husband.

Peter was a truly good guy, and a credit to DHS.
